It is almost the end of spooky season! For all those who celebrate Halloween, what are some of your favorite Halloween traditions and memories? You can share any that you enjoyed regardless of when you did it.

For me, this year, I had lots of fun giving out candies for Trick or Treat. It's not usual in my village to celebrate Halloween and go trick-or-treating quite a lot, but an event was arranged for this year and it was a blast being able to participate and contribute to all the kids' joys! Seeing all their costumes was incredibly adorable. I saw a variety, from ghosts and witches and clowns to Spiderman and Shrek! xD Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time to dress up myself but I do love what I did a few years ago where I dressed up as a vampire! Went all out for it. :P

What about you guys?

My country doesn't traditionally celebrate Halloween, but we can have our fun if we know where to find it. My best memory of Halloween was when I participated as a witch (Salem style) in a Halloween-themed fashion show. There were people dressed up with fake cuts and stitches on their faces. It ended well. I have never been really scary on Halloween. I haven't gone trick- or- treating either, but would love to.

This year, my plans include a festival, but I will add my own Halloweeny touch to it by reading some spooky short story during any little time I get today.

Some of my favorite memories as a kid were when we'd go trick or treating! Every year would be a different costume and I adored all of them though my favorite was a 50s poodle skirt! It was so cute. My most creative costume I wore was actually re-using a dress I got for a school dance and used make up to look like I was a dead prom queen haha.

My absolute favorite costume wasn't even mine but my youngest brother's. He wanted to be a robot so we took a box and put aluminum foil on it and drew buttons and screens on it and wrapped his arms and legs in aluminum foil. It was very cool and my mom was really proud of herself when she made it. (We thought about using another box to put on his head but it was really hard to see out of so we left that idea off.)

One of my favorite pictures from Halloween is of that same younger brother but a few years later when he went as a rock star so he had eyeliner on and it made his eyes POP. I was only a little jealous of how nice his eyelashes looked normally but with makeup I was just "Maaaan, you don't even care about makeup! Why did you get the bluest eyes out of all of us?" haha.
