Leah Samson, a 7th year in Ravenclaw, was once fond of saying "Oh, Muffin!" She also started handing out muffins in the Roost, and muffins caught on as a general theme around here. We have all become quite fond of eating them and sharing them with others seeing as how they're quite tasty.

Glad you stopped by the Roost. We hope you'll have some muffins while you're here. :)

*puts out chocolate-chip and blueberry muffins*

Sophi explained it pretty well Ryan. :) Muffins are just ravenclaw's "thing" I guess.

I think the better question to ask is 'why not?' actually *g*

1. Muffins taste GOOD.
2. We're a friendly bunch.
3. We like welcoming people etc.
4. We also tend to be pretty random / have weird moments.

--> We hand out muffins quite a bit.

Yay! I do agree with Maya, muffins is just too awesome and yummy!

Therefore, if you still around long enough you will soon get used to be given muffins on every occasions. We are happy, welcoming and generous eagles and love to share our passion and spread our love as well.

So muffins anyone?

Muffins are dreadful things and I can't abide them. The fact that "Muffin" started as a way of swearing while avoiding the language-inquisition amuses me beyond belief though, especially since it caught on as a Ravenclaw meme.

Frankly if someone offered me a muffin I'd probably hurl it at them. A nice juicy steak is more my thing (medium-well done by preference).

I was wondering about the muffins my self....

so have any of you muffin lovers watched the online cartoon "muffin films" by Amy winfrey (she's the creator of making fiends) They are awesome just google her name and muffins and it will pop right up. Or pm me for the link

the moral of the story is... never talk to muffin trees
