How to embed a Youtube video into a post
Enter this code into your post
Now find your Youtube video (Make sure it follows all HOL rules!), and copy the link. There are two ways your link may look, so make sure you look at which one you have below.
Either way, the link will have to be edited slightly, but depending on how it looks there are slightly different ways to go about it, but you will find them both explained below and it's easy to figure out which type of link you have (the first is the more common so if you're in doubt, try that first)
1.
You may see that your link has a part that looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=
That needs to be changed to look like this https://www.youtube.com/v/
The string of letters and numbers that came after needs to stay intact.
Place this new link between the flash tags and enjoy showing your video to the world.
2.
Your link may however also look more like this: https://youtu.be/
If that's the case, then discard everything but the string of letters and numbers following the last /
Then add that string to the end of this link instead: https://www.youtube.com/v/
Place this new link between the flash tags and enjoy showing your video to the world.
