Eagle's Talon - Game 4
Posted: Sat Mar 18, 2017 10:40 pmAt the end of every game the team votes on who wins the Eagle's Talont. This award is an honour presented to the Ravenclaw Quidditch player who combines great trivia knowledge with good sportsmanship.
We had another tough match, going up against Hufflepuff with only 4 players. It was extremely close, and we only lost by 10 (190-180) on the quaffle side, but we also had to forfeit snitch, making the final score 240-180. Pavel Lagrange really kept our spirits up and kept us in the running as chaser, Ryan Granger showed up for his first game in years and got several hits as beater, and Hannah R Thomas gave us a lot of support even though she wasn't able to play.
The talont award this game goes to Gail Allen, for showing up and being willing to play despite having injured fingers! She got several hits during the game and kept us going with her positive encouragement! Congratulations, Gail!
