Although you can’t see it all as clearly as the audience can, since you have your own job to do, even the cast and crew can feel the magical atmosphere in the theatre created by the sights of so many production elements coming together and creating a beautiful production. The costumes, props, lighting and scenery all complement each other brilliantly, and the actors seem to make them come to life perfectly.

Task:
Create the magical theatrical atmosphere by filling in this coloring page.

Alternatively, in at least 125 words, describe how it feels to walk around the theatre either before, during or immediately after the show.

This task is worth 10 beans/sapphires, with an additional 10 bonus beans/sapphires available for completing all Week Four (Performances) tasks by the end of activity (January 31st.)

From what I experienced, before the show in a theatre is often a bit noisy from the audience and their excitement and chatter and anticipation for the show to start. It’s often really crowded and it’s hard to find your way through, especially to your seats, though I’ve never seen anyone fight over seats, but I have seen a pre-show fight between patrons over bringing in snacks and phones that are not on silent and the occasional glares when anyone steps out of line (because I’m 100% sure there’s some etiquette that’s supposed to be followed but at the university theatre, unless they’re experienced in theatre going, no one seems to have a clue what they are). And if you stand near the refreshments, it’s not hard to notice the preparation going on downstairs near the dressing rooms.
