Week Two: Task #7 - “Creature Feature”
Posted: Fri Nov 08, 2024 7:24 am“Welcome everyone to the second week of our wonderful Care for Creature Scavenger! Yeah!” The Professor calls out in excitement as everyone gathers at the forest border within the school grounds.
”Today we will be heading towards some of the smaller ‘friendlier’ creature dens and observing the creatures. Here take some parchment!” The Professor passes on some sketching parchment.
”I want you to walk slowly and quietly so as to not scare the creatures and make some sketches and notes on any tracks and creatures. Adding what you observe makes them magical apart from normal creatures and all their little parts that are used in the magical communities for various reasons, from purpose companions, to potion ingredients etc. Pick out some features you like of the creatures if you want and focus on that”
”We will be reflecting on these after the trip and discussing it so don’t be shy on details and don’t lose your notes and sketches! Chop chop here we go!” The Professor claps their hands and starts leading the group through the trees.
Task:
Take note of all the features of the creatures by completing this Jigsaw. Post your completed image below with time and number of pieces visible in your image. Keep all images at a minimum of 600x600pixels.
Alternatively, research a creature that makes the forest their home and tell us about it in 120 words or more. Include what makes it a magical creature apart from a normal creature and what its function and value is in the magical world.
This task is worth 10 Beans/Sapphires and is due on November 30th before 11:59PM HOL time.
