We know that there are several very wealthy wizarding families. I suspect that several of them have monopolies on various markets or are invested in them. Some of those markets could include specific potions ingredients, apothecaries, bookshops, trade, etc. To encourage the younger generations to practice trading while building relationships with their classmates, Wizard’s Monopoly has been announced and now the creators are looking for people to submit their designs for the board game pieces.

Design your Wizard’s Monopoly board piece and post the image below. Or tell us about your piece in 75 words or more and include what enchantments you might put on it.

Be sure to keep all images 600x600 px or less.

Tasks will be due January 31st at 11:59pm HOL. Completed tasks are worth 10 beans/sapphires each.

My Wizard's Monopoly board piece would look like a Quidditch player mounted on a broomstick. It would be made of wood and colored in all black. It would be enchanted to hover at least one inch above the board, and it would take off to a little higher and fly to the designated square on the witch/wizard's command then lower itself again. The Quidditch player would be dressed in a Quidditch jersey, holding the broom with both hands and his body bent forward.
Broomsticks are a useful and common means of Muggle transport and can be used to travel places, which matches with the vibe of travelling across the Monopoly board.

I would absolutely love to create a Hippogriff board piece for Monopoly! They can be a form of transportation in the wizarding world, so they'd fit in well with the theme of the game pieces. I'd enchant the piece only to be able to be moved on the board if first bowed to and the piece bowed back, and enchant it to have flapping wings when it does move across the board to simulate it flying.
