KFC or KFC?

Fried chicken is a common favourite food all over the world. American fried chicken was invented by African-Americans, combining Scottish deep frying with West African seasonings. This dish has spread rapidly over the world, with the most notable fried chicken restaurant chain being Kentucky Fried Chicken. Korean fried chicken first arrived during the Korean War, when African-American soldiers would sell their soul-food American fried chicken to Koreans. There are many differences between American and Korean fried chicken, including the frying technique and the seasonings added.

So... which style of fried chicken do you prefer? Me personally, I like Korean fried chicken better because it has a lighter bread coating and I like the seasonings and sauces used better than American fried chicken.

I would join you on that; I prefer the Korean version, too. Mind, there is nothing wrong with the American version, but I like a lighter crust and the seasoning on the Korean version is much tastier, in my opinion.

I personally have never tried Korean fried chicken before but I’d certainly agree that it may be better than Kentucky fried chicken in flavour, but I’m not sure about the crispness because I like me some crispy chicken unless it’s roasted.

I prefer Kentucky fried chicken because of the crispiness. It can be a good snack. It is said that crispy food is good for mood uplifting. The Korean fried chicken is wetter and not crispy.

I like both.
In my opinion, the Korean fried chicken is more flavorful and I like the sesame seed sprinkle on top which adds a whole new texture to the food. The sauces are delicious and slightly sweet and spicy, I just love it.Yummy.
As for the crispy KFC (the world known food chain), I heard rumors that the chicken was sourced from somewhere bad but I think that is a lie. Their chicken indeed do taste way different from others, though, as their chicken is way softer (on the inside) and has different flavor as if I were eating a different bird. It may just be a different species of chicken, not necessarily be something bad so let the rumors be rumors. It is one of a kind and tastes very good, but I only like it when there is a lot of peri-peri seasoning on top. I like things spicy, and for me, the KFC chicken is crispy but it is not spicy enough to suit my taste. Just a personal quirk. Also, I do not like to chew too hard for a long time. The crispy covering on top is not very healthy either, it is fried popcorn, in another form, and just adds to your body fat. The Korean fried chicken, on the other hand, has no thick and fried cover to it, and is more protein than fat in comparison.
