Is astrology real

We live in the world of magic. So, it is easier for us to believe that predicting the future, Divination, for that matter, or astrology are real, because after all, we are taught all of these as part of Divination at Hogwarts. The planetary influences and the position of the stars during your time of birth, apparently have an impact on your personality and also on the events in your whole life, according to astrology. Different people have different opinions on the validity of this field of study, ranging from the believer to the absolute non- believers who think it is a scam.
Wikipedia (if you google on the Muggle internet) would describe the field of astrology by saying it is a pseudoscience, if you happen to google its validity. Some mid-range claims would suggest that it is indeed a real field and the position of the planets and stars during the time of birth, make some influence on the person's personality and hence would believe in birth charts, at the same time claiming that these do not any further make any impact on the person's life after they have already been born.
Muggles, especially, who have been scammed thousands of times by fake astrologers would be of the opinion that it is a way for using the emotions of vulnerable people to make money, as vulnerable and desperate people get emotional and anxious enough to seek help from an astrologer or a tarot reader or Diviner.
In my opinion, like all true believers, I believe that since everything is matter and energy, all processes in and around us are some kind of a ripple effect of energy bouncing off of each other, off of material objects, and off of celestial objects in the universe. Therefore, the movement of these objects, especially something as big as a star or planet, could very well affect the energies of people who are affected by it by directly being within its range. This could happen at any time and therefore would continue to influence us all even after our birth and hence affect the events in our life. We could predict adverse events or good ones. But, how we react to these events, and how we cope with these is determined by a set personality that we possess, which is said to be determined by our star sign (zodiac sign) and the position of other planets and stars in the sky during our birth. I agree, because when our conciousness and existence as a separate individual is first being formed, the energy affects us most strongly and gets trapped forever, because (or just how) beyond that point, a lot of our bodily features as well can no longer change, it's like the formative factors are dealt with altogether by this energy (which we could call Divine energy, if you are a believer) after which we are formatted and ready to exist. A lot happens when we are born and our body changes in a way that makes us capable of surviving as a separate human being. The same happens with this energy, as during the exact time of our birth, an energy imprint of that particular time is left on us and trapped forever in our body, especially impacting our brain, causing us to have a certain personality.
While we can consciously behave in different ways, we still carry that imprint, and will naturally react in the way determined by that imprint, in situations of emergency.
If you do not believe in the exchange of energies, here is my attempt to explain it better. A lot of us who are intuitive tend to pick up on subtle shifts of energy very quickly, sometimes consciously or sometimes subconsciously, and this is what we tend to call 'vibe'. "The vibe of this place is so bad." Have you heard someone saying this or even said it yourself? If you have, then, that vibe or the aura of a place or person that we feel, that determine whether or not we feel better/confortable/energized/uplifted/ anxious/ loved or happy, in their presence, that we describe as "matched our vibe" or "we vibe so well together", is actually those subtle shifts of universal or Divine energy happening every moment, that is undetectable by us, perhaps because of the range of undetectable frequencies they exist in, but continue to affect on even when we don't know it is happening.
That was my take on this matter, at least. Now, it is your turn to agree/disagree and/or share your views. I would love to hear your opinion. Feel free to reply with whatever you think.
