“Unicorn horn and unicorn tail are used in a variety of different ways by the wizarding world,” your professor says. You have been walking through the forest for awhile now, and one of your classmates happened upon a hair from a unicorn tail that was tangled in some branches of a bush. This has prompted a lesson from your professor, who is talking about all the uses for unicorn tail and horn as the hair is passed around amongst the students.
When the hair gets to you, you marvel at how soft and silky it is, and at how it’s so white it almost seems to glow in the dim light of the forest. As you turn to mention this to your classmates, out of the corner of your eye, you see a bright white streak through the trees!
Everyone is talking and craning their necks to get a look at what just whizzed past, when suddenly the streak enters the clearing you are standing in! This time it is a little closer and a little slower, so you can tell that it’s a unicorn! It must be the one whose tail hair you found! What a magical sight!
The unicorn is not there long; it dashes off into the forest before anyone gets much of a chance to look at it, but you definitely saw it. Quickly, you grab your notebook out of your backpack and sketch what you saw so you don’t forget what it looks like!
Task: Create a graphic depicting your unicorn sighting, and/or what you think a unicorn would look like in person. Please remember that all graphics posted to the comments need to be no larger than 600x600 pixels. Alternatively, write 75 words or more describing what you saw when the unicorn ran by.
