As the last week of the scavenger trip comes close to an end, you cannot help but feel a little sad. Nothing really beats a good trip somewhere, learning and competing in fun activities.
Deep in thought, you stare at the edge of the forest. To your surprise, another student stuffs a disposable camera, a sketch pad and a pencil into your hands.
“What is this?” You look over to the student as they continue on handing out the items to other students, not hearing your question.
The Professor at the front edge of the forest calls everyone closer.
“Gather everyone. So today will be a much needed Herbology trip. As we will be taking note of the plant life in and around the forest, we will also be heading to some of the greenhouses afterwards to compare plants. Today I want you to take pictures of the types of trees, plants, forest floor and fungi you can see and spot. Take photos, draw some, make notes and afterwards we will discuss the best to keep in a greenhouse or garden and those best left for fresh picking out in the wild.”
You look down at the camera. You didn’t expect the Professor to use muggle technology as it is usually only students that know much about these things.
“Now I know these items we have provided to you are a little unconventional but I was assured by my very up to trend niece, they will be easy to use. So, please stay close as we head to some of the caves and lake areas and do not let me have to save you from dangerous plants because you got too close. I have had a rough week as it were.” The Professor sighs as the group starts moving into the forest.
