Task 6: Clue

Clue is a detective/mystery type game where you and other players have to figure out who the murderer is, where they did it, and with what object. You need to use the clues you are provided along with the clues other players give you when to make a guess to solve the mystery. Practice your logic/puzzle solving skills with the logic puzzle below.

Complete a logic puzzle found here. A completed puzzle can be any difficulty level you choose, but it should be at least 4x5. Alternatively, write a short story about a mystery that took place at HOL, in 100 words or more.

HOL is never a dull place to be in, but, the occassional mysteries make it all the more interesting. It can be a theft of the new year by one of the Hogwarts ghosts, with some prefects leading a detective spree and awarding house points to the ones who really help. It can also be something more sinister.
This time, a more sinister mystery had shrouded HOL. Someone couldn't enter any of the common rooms. The entrances had been converted into slides and no matter how many times they tried they fell out, and the passwords weren't being accepted even though they were correct. That was quite overwhelming. It hurt to be left out of the fun. Who had caused this to happen and why? Maybe there would be answers in the Great Hall? Or maybe a prefect could help? The student who got locked out tried the main forum to look for answers in the Great Hall or ask a prefect. They got locked out of the main forum as well. That was quite the bad luck. The student tried to get in touch with the Head Office. With some Felix Felicis and help from the Head Office, the student finally got in. But they were curious as to the source of the mystery. They were afraid that if they left the common room at all, they would face the same trouble with the sliding entrances again and be left out. Imagine being stranded in a common room and not being able to get out for fear of never being able to get back in. The student decided to travel by broom and never set foot on the floor except when already inside the forum or common rooms. Whenever they left any common room, they left on a broom. When they got in, they never stepped on the sliding entrance at all, instead, they mounted their broom and flew right in. That way, they could just fly past the sliding entrances and not have to be stranded. Finding this new way of going in and out made the student cheerful and confident and full of renewed vigor. They decided to solve the mystery of the sliding entrances. After a long and tiring search, they finally found a bundimun infestation under the floorboards. So, this was the root of the mystery. The student reported the infestation to the Head Office instantly. The professor who takes care of the technical magic of the HOL community, and the professors of the Head Office worked together with several charms and potions to clear out the infestation. After casting "Scourgify" a lot many times, the floorboards looked as shiny as new and the bundimuns were gone. The sliding entrances became doors again like they were. They opened up with the right password. Access to the common rooms was restored and no one had to fly in on brooms or remain stranded inside again.

There seems always to be some kind of mystery afoot around HOL, with the most recent causing quite a stir. A peculiar sight beheld us during the early morning hours while in the Great Hall for breakfast. The Professors were walking about, ensuring the students weren't stirring up any trouble, when the exact double of a Processor walked through the doors. As one can imagine, this wasn't taken lightly, as the look-alike and original Professor were both hauled away. We spent the entire day speculating. As it turns out, a student was dared to make a Polyjuice Potion of that Professor and walk around the castle for the day, trying to avoid getting caught. They were reprimanded, and all returned to what can be considered normal for HOL.
