For those of you who are not familiar with the award:
Description: An honour presented to the Ravenclaw Quidditch player whom the captains decide demonstrate excellent dedication, sportsmanship, and skill.
The first person to receive this award is a new addition to the team this year. She's been a great player and a wonderful person to have on the team. In our first game of the season against Hufflepuff, she showed all of RQT and HOL her talent despite it being her first game. Congrats to HELENA ROSENBLUM!
The second person getting this award shouldn't really surprise anyone who has seen RQT play. She's been a member of the team for years and continues to be one of the scariest players in all of HOL. They only reason Tara and I even considered not giving her this award is the fact that she's probably going to yell at us for it, but we decided it was well worth it. For our game against Gryffindor, the Captain's Choice Award goes to CASSANDRA SPARKLEISSA LOBIESK! (you can totally blame Alexia Riaper for this)
For our third game, Tara and I were not sure who to give the award to. Everyone played so great and it was a total team effort. However, two players really stood out. One played amazingly as usual and we couldn't be more proud of him. The other stepped in to play keeper when our other keeper decided to leave us mid-season. She played a wonderful game and helped us to get our third victory of the season. So congratulations to MARK MANDRAKE and ANNIE CHANDRAN!
