Did Dilana Get More out of the Deal?

Think you are happy, think you are going to win -- that's what Dilana thought when she was the only one that wasn't put in the bottom three on the season finale of the Muggle television show Rockstar Supernova! For those who don't know, this show is a reality show (yes I do on occasion watch a reality show every so often). This is another musical type show, but unlike American Idol these rockers play their own instruments, and get to be a part of a band, primarily the lead singer! The band consists of guitar player Gilby Clark from the band Guns and Roses, bass player Jason Newsted from Metallica, and drum player Tommy Lee from Motley Crue! This show is probably the only Muggle reality show that I will ever watch, because I'm always opinionated on how the show will end. This year I predicted that Dilana would win, but I was wrong.

Meet Lukas Rossi, a Muggle from Toronto, Canada. As about rocking as everyone on the show, he had spiky hair colored black and white and had a killer voice and could sing anything you could think of. He wasn't my favorite until later on when he sang the song Bittersweet Symphony. That's when he turned to the good side.

Dilana was the one I loved since the beginning. She was raised in Africa, but she, like Lukas, can sing anything in any way she wants. She mellowed out the song "Roxanne" letting the others sing background for her, and she rocked out "Won't Be Fooled Again" by The Who. That woman has some low chords on her.

So this is where I was kind of on the fence on two of my favorites being together on the stage to win. I was hoping Dilana was going to win, she did her song "Supersoul" on finale night which was the 13th of September and rerocked out "Zombie" by the Cranberries! Lukas sang his song "Headspin" and "Bittersweet Symphony." Dilana with her funky hair and Lukas with his blue sparkly makeup covered up by his big sunglasses were standing there awaiting the decision. When Tommy Lee mentioned the fact that Lukas had the most votes out of everyone and he had to "agree with the public," there was a shock and Dilana was happy that Lukas got the prize, but she got a lot more. She gets to work with Gilby, Dave, and Tommy all on different projects, AND she gets to go on tour with Supernova and play with the House Band. My opinion is that in spite of the fact that Lukas may get to sing with the band, Dilana got a lot more out of it!
