Heroes, the New Television Phenomenon
Ellianna Cortez

This show "Heroes" on the Muggle channel NBC has become a television hit, with not well-known actors (with the exclusion of Ali Larter known for the first two Final Destinations and American Outlaws) and a killer plotline. It's a hit! The story is this: several people around the world have figured out that they had powers of different sorts. There are the Petrelli Brothers: Nathan and Peter, who can fly and use the other superhero powers to their advantage; there's Hiro, everyone's favorite time traveller from Japan; Isaac, who can draw and paint the future; Niki, who has two different identities; and Claire, the indestructable cheerleader--the one who they are all trying to save.

We learn that Claire's foster father (she was adopted) is after all of the "special people" and he uses people around him to try to get them. He realizes that Claire is one of them, so he tries everything in his power to hide the fact that he knows her secret. All in all the show is wonderful with great characters, great plotlines, and great everything (in all hope of bringing the Indian university guy back). I thought that this show is worth watching and if anyone else agrees with me they should turn the channel to their local NBC station or go to the NBC website to watch the show and read Hiro's blog.
